Now we’re back in Scotland visiting Granny and Grandad. The weather is great, so Grandad suggested a trip to Largs and a walk by the sea-front.

First of all we stopped by the supermarket to pick up some food and of course as we were by the seaside, we had to let Sofia drive a boat!

It was a fantastic day to walk along the prom, and Sofia really loved it, exploring everywhere she went and showing off her new trick of walking by herself to Granny and Grandad. This time last week, she hadn’t taken a step without holding someones hand, now she is running around and playing like it’s the best thing ever!

Can you believe that our little girl is 1 year old?

The best year of our lives… and it passed in the blink of an eye.

To celebrate, we took our little one out to Ekebyhovs Slott in Ekerö where she got to run around the big gardens and the 350 year old palace while eating all the water-melon she could find in the lunch buffet which was Salmon and 16 different salad and vegetable dishes!

We walked back to Drottningholm and Sofia tried to chase some of the geese, who just stayed their ground as they are bigger than Sofia…

In the evening, Travis and his Mum and Dad came to sing happy birthday and to help Sofia blow out the candle on her cake!

Sofia has always been a bit “cautious” around water… even screaming  her head off when getting  a bath!

Yesterday we were at the beach and tried to get her to paddle with the normal result. But after a bit off lunch on the beach and watching the older children jumping in, our brave little girl dipped her toe in the water.

After that, we could hardly get her out!!!

Sofia was very impressed hearing about Uncle Neils running of the West Highland Way Race this weekend, so asked if her and Daddy could go out for a run in Haga park in her “jogger” pram.

Sofia led the way for the first 4K and even managed to do the last Km while asleep! She’s some girl…

It was election day in Bulgaria so Sofia went down to the polling station to see Mummy, Baba and Diado vote.

The local TV station were there to capture this historic occasion…

Sofia wont let us put anything in the shopping basket just now. She has to carry everything to the checkout and then cries when we take it off her to scan it.

Only problem is that she shows everyone what un-healthy food Daddy buys…

Right outside our flat is a very nice little play park for kids. Sofia was too small for it last year and for the last 6 months it’s been covered in snow and ice, but today it was warm and sunny and we went out to play on the swing for the first time.

We were a bit worried that she might slip through the seat, but Sofia is brave and held on tight!
