Granny comes to town…

Granny came to visit Sofia for the weekend! Here we all are down in Vasastan, taking a well deserved cup of coffee after walking all the way from home.

This week Sofia really started to make her voice heard and wanted to “speak” to everyone…

On the Sunday, Granny and Daddy and Sofia walked around Haga Park while Mummy was getting a training session and a bit of luxury for free at the Haga Spa. Granny also got a face treatment their too. The only treat that Daddy got was when we went for Coffee afterwards and we let Sofia choose the cakes!

At the end of the trip Granny and Mummy went to Åhlens and got a professional make-up done while Daddy walked around in the cold with Sofia…

I have a voice!!!

I’ve always known that actually, but I just discovered that despite for using it when crying, I can also play with it and make different sounds – i can take lower and higher tones (the higher pitches the better and the funnier for me ;-)), I can make longer and shorter sounds and most of all I can use it to tell mum and dad what I’ve been dreaming of and what I’ve been doing through the day!!!

Recently, I also discovered that I can growl like a teddy bear… it’s great fun since it also suits the teddy bear blue jacket and the teddy bear white ovaerall that mummy puts me in as soon as we are to go out, that’s to keep the cold away she says, but I just think they enjoy making fun of me and think that I don’t get it…

PS. Sofia’s age – 3 months old

First eating out

Sofia has been out drinking Coffee with Mummy at cafes before but tonight we all went out and ate at a resteraunt for the first time.

Luckily it wasn’t too posh a place as Sofia was making her voice heard!

My new friend…

Came via postal mail all the way from Chamonix… There was à short note saying that it was uncle Neil who captured it on his way round. Uncle Neil was there running in the Alps and he must have beaten his old record if he also had time to chase the Marmot this time…

Mammagruppen

On the 5th of September Mum took me to the first Mammagrupp-meeting, which is something that the children’s nurse Eva organized. The idea behind is for me to meet other babies born roughly at the same time as me and living at the same area and for Mum, to meet their Mums and share thoughts and experiences.

We were 6 babies – 3 girls and 3 boys – and I was the youngest one… While our Mums were doing the talking, they tried to make us all play together on the floor, but I didn’t enjoy that cause Mum put me on the wrong side – on my belly – and I couldn’t see anyone… I don’t like lying on my belly cause I have to raise my head up and I have still not worked out how to do it properly… even worse is, there are more Mammagrupp meetings to come…

Fanny’s Christening

Dad and I on our way home after being at my friend Fanny’s Christening ceremony at the Ulriksdal’s chapel.

I don’t remember so much of the ceremony cause I slept through it, but Mum and Dad said it was a nice one, even though it seemed as if it was the priest’s first Christening and she did a couple of mistakes, such as getting the babies names wrong 🙂 I remember though getting a fright from the organ when the lady started playing, but I liked it afterwards and the sound put me to sleep.
