Sofia was feeling a bit under the weather today, so she got to stay home from dagis. Just to get her out a bit, Daddy took her to the butterfly house.

On Sunday we started the day by building caves for little frogs, then went down to Sickla at the site of an old engine workshop and played in a giant diesel engine play park…

Afterwards we walked to the Salmon ladder and watched the Sea Trout making their way up stream. Well, Mama and Daddy watched, Sofia slept…

The Sea Trout we saw were all between around 5 to 10 lbs and after they got up the salmon ladder, you could see them resting in the “pool” (canal) above. Keep your eye on the second ladder about 18secs in on this clip.

That’s  two nights in a row that our wee girl has wanted to fall asleep in her own bed in her own room…

We packed away her other bed tonight and now it is up in the loft!
