Granny’s 65th birthday started off early with some tasty tea and cake in the morning and then an even tastier trip to South Queensferry and Orocco Pier restaurant.

We had re-enactments, pipe bands, demonstrations of ancient crafts and even songs about midges!

Over in Scotland visiting Granny and Grandad and went up to Whitburn on Saturday to see the Galaday.
Was a bit of rain, but it didn’t dampen the spirits too much. Sofia enjoyed the whole procession and waved her flag throughout!

Sofia must have been watching some of the action from Brazil, because she knew exactly what to do! (Not quite Brazilian weather though)…

In the afternoon, we celebrated the national day down at our friend’s Jan and Anja and Sofia got to play with Fabian, Travis, Max and Mauritz on the trampoline.

Sofia took to it like a duck to water and must have bounced for about 3 hours non-stop. The next day, she had sore legs from all the exercise.

Mum and Dad were at a citizenship ceremony when one of the neighbours, crown princess Victoria, turned up to take the chance to meet Sofia! 😉

Sofia wasn’t letting go of her Dummy or her Mummy for anyone though!
