Now we’re back in Scotland visiting Granny and Grandad. The weather is great, so Grandad suggested a trip to Largs and a walk by the sea-front.

First of all we stopped by the supermarket to pick up some food and of course as we were by the seaside, we had to let Sofia drive a boat!

It was a fantastic day to walk along the prom, and Sofia really loved it, exploring everywhere she went and showing off her new trick of walking by herself to Granny and Grandad. This time last week, she hadn’t taken a step without holding someones hand, now she is running around and playing like it’s the best thing ever!

Can you believe that our little girl is 1 year old?

The best year of our lives… and it passed in the blink of an eye.

To celebrate, we took our little one out to Ekebyhovs Slott in Ekerö where she got to run around the big gardens and the 350 year old palace while eating all the water-melon she could find in the lunch buffet which was Salmon and 16 different salad and vegetable dishes!

We walked back to Drottningholm and Sofia tried to chase some of the geese, who just stayed their ground as they are bigger than Sofia…

In the evening, Travis and his Mum and Dad came to sing happy birthday and to help Sofia blow out the candle on her cake!
